In a video message posted on Jatiya Oikya Front’s facebook page top leader of the front and chief of Gono Forum has called on everyone to wake up and use their voting power to build a golden Bangladesh.
The video was released on Dec 21.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made a similar call in a separate video, posted on BNP’s official Facebook page
BNP chairperson’s media wing member Shairul Kabir told The New Nation that the Oikya Front leaders call was meant for everyone.
This video message aimed to young people. Kamal Hossain and Mirza Fakhrul asked them to wake up. Trusting them, the future of Bangladesh will be decided by the youth.
In the video Dr Kamal ask to youth “Who is Bangladesh? You are just Bangladesh , you are the 25 year old boy, you are dreaming about, standing on your feet. And that’s the 22 year old girl you want to conquer Everest. Hey, you are only Bangladesh, I know.”
Calling the youth to vote in morning on Election Day, Mirza Fakhrul said, “We fought for this country in youth. In 70 years old age I am asking you only one day of December 30. This day for Bangladesh. Vote on the morning of December 30. Show that you just not cast vote, you can prevent the vote robbery, then the democracy will be saved.”
Fakhrul said to the young people, “I tell you, do you show that you are Bangladesh You Mater, you own the country. Your vote should be the future of this country. Vote what you consider your mind. I respect that decision.”
