Bangladesh Kalyan Party on Thursday arranged a discussion meeting at Nayapaltan in the city to observe the 7th anniversary of the BDR carnage, commemorating the atrocious killing of 74 people, including 57 army officials in city’s Pilkhana.
The party’s Secretary General M M Aminur Rahman, its leader Shahidur Rahman Tamanna and others spoke in the function. Aminur Rahman demanded observation of February 25 as `national mourning day`. The party leaders also demanded a judicial probe into the carnage to unearth the mystery behind the incident.
