Kalpana-Selim- Sumona Shoma together in mega serial

Entertainment Report :For the first time, noted film actress Khaleda Akhter Kalpana, noted actor and play director Shahiduzzaman Selim and actress Sumona Shoma performed together in a TV play.They are acting together in a mega serial titled Mon Thekey Durey Noi. Mojibul Haque Khokon is giving direction of the serial under the script written by Ahsan Habib. This week shooting of the mega serial is being held in different locations in the city’s Dhanmondi and Uttara areas. While sharing her feelings about acting in the serial Khaleda Akhter Kalpana told this correspondent, “In fact, I have reduced acting now-a-days. Because I do not get good story based play now. Therefore, the roles, which I get, do not match with my present position and condition. But I have liked the story of Khokon’s mega serial. For this reason, I have agreed to act in the serial.”Shahiduzzaman Selim shared his feelings by this way, “Sometimes story of the mega serial becomes lengthy. But in case of single episode play it doesn’t happened. I have liked the work of full unit, skillness of the director and overall condition of the mega serial Mon Thekey Durey Noi. As a result, the work of the serial has become nice as a whole.”Sumona Shoma said, “After many days I am acting in a mega serial. My role is very challenging in the serial. Viewers will enjoy the serial.”The serial Mon Thekey Durey Noi will on air soon on ATN Bangla, said its director Khokon.Recently Khaleda Akhter Kalpana’s acted popular serials are: Empty Pocket, Manpower, Ural Ponkhi Mon, Sonalu Phul Nilanjana, Bahanno Golir Ek Goli, Panijuddho (single play), Rabeya, Nakshi Kanthar Math (telefilm), Bindu Noi Britto, Bonphul-er Gaan, etc. However, National Film Award winning actor Shahiduzzaman Selim recently finished shooting of Alvi Ahmed’s directed a movie titled U-Turn.On the other hand, though Sumona Shoma acted last in film Nondito Norok-e but she didn’t perform in any other movie then. But now she is becoming regular in acting, Shoma said.
