Kaliganj Upazila clinched title of the Satkhira DC Cup Football tournament beating Ashashuni Upazila by 2-0 goals grand final held today (Tuesday) at the Satkhira District Stadium.In the day’s match, foreign recruit Ikee and Touhid scored one goal apiece for the champions, both the goals came in the first half.Ikee was named the player of the final for his brilliant performance.The champion team received Taka forty thousand while the runners-up got Taka twenty five thousand as prize money.Meer Mostaq Ahmed Robi, MP of Sathkira-3 constitution was present as chief guest in the final and distributed the prizes.
