Kaliganj Upazila reached final of the Walton DC Cup Football Tournament beating Satkhira Sadar Upazila team by 2-0 goals in the first semifinal match on Monday at the Satkhira district stadium ground.
In the day’s match, foreign recruit Dudu opened an account for Kaliganj in the 60th minute while Saimond sealed the victory scoring the second goal for the winning side in the 64th minute.
Shamnagar Upazila will face Ashashuni Upazila team in the second semis schedule to be held today (Tuesday) at the same venue.
