A fierce bowling spell by spinner Abdur Razzak saw Kalabagan Krira Chakra to record their second win in the Walton Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPDCL) beating all losers Old DOHS Sporting Club by 90 runs in their fifth round match held on Tuesday at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothisthan ground no 4 in Savar.
Batting first after winning the toss, Kalabagan scored a decent total of 220 for 8 from their allotted 50 overs.
In reply, Old DOHS found the chase very stiff and dismissed at a paltry total of 130 in 37.3 overs.
National spinner Abdur Razzak of Kalabagan was named the player of the match for his four-wicket haul in the match.
With the day’s win, Kalabagan secured four points from five match while Old DOHS yet to not open their account playing the same number of outings.
