Kakrail Boys hardly had to sweat as they register an easy 69 runs victory over Bangladesh Boys in the Dhaka First Division Cricket league match held on Monday at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothishtan (BKSP) Ground 2.
Asked to bat first, Kakrail Boys scored 218 for 9 in their allotted 50 overs.
Omar Farhad with 57, Tushar with 44, Lipu with 26, Nadeem Sheikh with 17 not out were the principal run getters for Kakrail Boys.
Hassanuzzaman was the leading bowler for Bangladesh Boys with 3 for 51. Sharif and Uttam Sarkar supported him with two wicket each.
In reply Bangladesh Boys found the target too steep as they were bowled out for 149 runs in 42.3 overs.
Imran Hossain with 39 and Rubel Howlader with 33 were the two leading Bangladesh Boys’ batsmen.
Tipu Sultan with four wickets for 42 and Mushfiqur Rahman with three for 23 for were the wreckers-in-chief bowlers for Kakrail Boys.
