The newly -constructed building of Kachua Press Club was ceremonially inaugurated by Al-haj Adv. Mir Shawkat Ali Badsha, President of Parliamentary Permanent Committee on the Ministry of Fishery and Livestock Affairs and MP of Bagerhat constituency-2 as the chief guest on Saturday morning in presence of journalists, high officials, people’s representatives, political leaders, teachers and the elite of the locality.
It was followed by a discussion meeting held in the Press Club with its convener Tushar Roy Roni
Al-haj Adv. Mir Shawkat Ali Badsh while speaking in the meeting as the chief guest urged the journalist to publish accurate, objective, unbiased and constructive news items in their respective medias for the betterment of the country and her people. He urged the gathering to make the hands of the premier Shaikh Hasina in order to make the country prosperous, developed and happy, particularly for the south region. He added, the most cherished desire of the people of the south region of the country is the construction of Padma bridge, He emphatically declared that the proposed Padma bridge must be implemented within the scheduled time if Shaikh Hasina was in power.
