Md Humayun Kabir, director general of Currency Management Department of Bangladesh Bank (BB), has recently been promoted to executive director (ED) of Bangladesh Bank.
Prior to his long 30-year career, he served in Human Resource Department, Banking Rule and Regulation Policy Department, Foreign Currency Policy Department, Foreign Currency Investment Department, Bangladesh Bank Training Academy and Bangladesh Bank Inspection Department.
Besides, he was appointed as managing director of Security Printing Corporation Bangladesh ‘TAKSAL’ in Gazipur.
As part of his professional responsibility, he traveled USA, France, UK, Canada, Singapore, UAE, Malaysia, Thailand, India and Bhutan.
