Chief Coordinator of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee and eminent Poet Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury inaugurated a stage after the name of famous Indian poet Shankha Ghosh at the 45th Kolkata Book Fair.
The “Kabi Shankha Ghosh Mancha” was inaugurated on Wednesday evening at Little Magazine mandapa of Kolkata Book Fair, said a press release in Dhaka on Thursday.
Among others, Mumbai-based drama personality Shivaji Sengupta, Guild editor and writer Tridib Chattopadhyay, poet Shankha Ghosh’s daughter and writer Semanti Ghosh, poet Professor Abhik Majumder, poet Prasoon Bhowmik, publisher and author Rupa Majumdar, minister of State and author Dr Humayun Kabir, President of the Guild and author Sudhanshu Shekhar Dey, novelist journalist Prachet Gupta, prominent poet of Bangladesh Tariq Sujat and publisher Apu Day were present on the occasion.
