Professor Dr. Soumitra Shekhar joined office on Sunday as the new vice-chancellor of Kabi Nazrul University for the next four years. He is the sixth vice-chancellor of Kabi Nazrul University. Treasurer Professor Jalal Uddin and Registrar Humayun Kabir greeted the newly appointed VC on behalf of the University. Professor said, the next four years, the university will focus on academic activities and added “If you give me a peaceful campus, I hope I can give you a world-class university in the next two years.” He joined the Dhaka University as a lecturer in 1997 and later promoted as a Professor.
