K-Sports gave Taka one crore to Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) as the company bought all rights of the Bangabandhu Gold Cup (Excepting rights of tickets). K-Sports will bear all sorts of expenditure to run the football meet smoothly.
K-Sports signed an agreement with BFF at the conference room in Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) House on Thursday. Senior Vice-President of BFF Abdus Salam Murshedy and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of K-Sports Fahad Karim signed the agreement papers on behalf of their respective organizations. Besides, a press conference was held at the same venue on the same day. President of BFF Kazi Md Salahuddin, Senior Vice-President of BFF Abdus Salam Murshady, Vice President of BFF Mohiuddin Ahmed Mohi, CEO of K-Sports Fahad Karim, General Secretary of BFF Md Abu Nayeem Shohag, Chairperson of the Women’s Football Committee of BFF Mahfuza Akter Kiron, Member of BFF Harun-ur-Rashid, Member of BFF Amit Khan, Member of BFF Shawkat Ali Khan Jahangir, Member of BFF Bijon Barua were present at the conference, among others.
Kazi Md Salahuddin said, ” Bangabandhu Gold Cup will be held at the Bangabandhu National Stadium and Sylhet Stadium from October 1 to October 12. A total of six teams will take part in the gala extravaganza. Hosts Bangladesh, Palestine, Nepal and Philippines have confirmed that they will take part in the mega football tournament. This is the 5th edition of the prestigious football competition.”
Abdus Salam Murshedy said, ” K-Sports gave Taka one crore to BFF to arrange the football competition smoothly. I hope the six-nation football tournament will be held successfully.”
Fahad Karim said, ” We are highly delighted to be partner of BFF to arrange the football competition. We shall try to telecast all the matches of the tournament through two satellite channels. I think the football meet is one of the top level football competition of this region. I hope we shall do our job successfully.”
