Jyotika Jyoti waiting for Anil Bagchir Ekdin

Viewers’ choice popular actress Jyotika Jyoti in her short time acting career has already performed in three films which stories were based on the liberation war where most of the actresses always eager to work in this type story based films.
But Jyotika Jyoti didn’t wait for long time to get the opportunity to perform in liberation war based film. Only for Jyoti’s talent and acting skill she got the opportunity.
Morshedul Islam’s Anil Bagchir Ekdin is such a film where Jyoti acted in role of younger sister of Anil, Atoshi.
Anil Bagchir Ekdin has been made under the adaptation from the popular novel of Humayun Ahmed. Earlier the film was scheduled to release on Independence Day. Due to illness of director Morshedul Islam its realsing date has been changed. But when it will be released it has not been confirmed till now.
While sharing her feelings to perform in role of Atoshi in the film Jyotika Jyoti told this correspondent, “I have performed in role of Anil’s younger sister in the film. It was very challenging role. I am optimistic about my role in the film. Earlier I had worked in other two liberation war based films. I always want to attach in such type of films. I also want to survive with the loves from my fans and viewers.”
Within this month Jyoti’s acted a short film titled Gorto- Trench of Fair is scheduled to release. She performed in the central role, Morium in the short film. Salekin Bin Liakat has given direction of it, she said.
In fact, Jyotika Jyoti herself is waiting to watch her performances in roles of Atoshi and Morium right now. She has recently finished shooting of Taju Kamrul’s directed a play titled Bhalobashar Anubhuti.
It may be mentioned that in 2004, Jyoti became the champion in Dhaka division in Lux-Anandadhara Photogenic Contest.
Later who were in the top positions they are now absolutely absent in media.
Completed honors and master in English Literature Jyoti once wanted to a government official to appear in the BCS examinations. But she became an actress. Last Friday she became happy because there was a question on Jyoti’s acted film Jibondhuli, she said.
Jyoti’s acted other films are: Sarah Begum Kobori’s Ayna, Belal Ahmed’s Nondito Norokey and Tanvir Mokammel’s Rabeya and Jibondhuli.
