Jyotika Jyoti is a viewers’ choice popular actress of the country’s TV and film arenas. She has already established her position in media to star in different types of story based works and played in exceptional roles. On the other hand, Homayra Himu came from theatre play who is also a popular TV actress. Last year Himu lost her mother and then she broke mentally. However, to keep herself busy, Himu tries to continue acting. Jyotika Jyoti did not work in any drama serial for last four years due to not liking any story and role. After taking four years break, Jyoti worked in BTV
produced a drama serial titled Gunnies Bukey Naam, which story was written by Piar Mohammad. Jyoti played the role of Jarina while Homayra Himu acted in role of Morjina. Basically both Jyoti and Himu played roles of two
co-wives in the serial. Shooting
of the serial began at a house in Pubail, Gazipur recently. Roles of two other co-wives will be played by two newcomer actresses. Mahmudul Islam Mithu played role of their husband in the serial. While acting in the serial Jyotika Jyoti said, “After four years, I acted in a drama serial for BTV. Due to quality of works and engagement with my business, now my mind does not want to work only for earning money. My mind cannot match with these.
I have liked story and character of the serial and I was informed that shooting will be end in scheduled time. So, I agreed to work. Therefore, the serial will be aired on BTV. It was also another reason to work. Because BTV’s serial reaches to elsewhere of the country.” Homayra Himu shared her feelings by this way, “I have a good friendship with Jyotika Jyoti. It is no doubt that Jyoti is a
talented actress. After a long time, we worked together. We passed nice times during shooting. As we played in roles of two co-wives so, we joyfully worked together in the serial. I believe this serial will get acceptability among the viewers.” The serial will be aired on BTV from July 7. Meanwhile, Jyotika Jyoti is now busy with her business house, Khona Organic. She started her career in media through Lux-Anandadhara Photo Beauty Pageant. Kobori directed film Ayna was Jyoti-starrer her debut movie. Homayra Himu is now busy with acting for serials Baker Khoni, Chapabaaj, Bou Birodh, Nanan Ronger Manushera and Golmal.
