Leonardo Bonucci’s last-gasp winner helped Juventus win the Derby della Mole on home turf on Saturday, as the Bianconeri recovered from 1-0 down to beat city-rivals Turino 2-1.
Turino took an early lead just nine minutes into the game, as Nicolas Nkoulou poked into the net in at a corner.
The away side had the chance to swell the lead minutes later, as Simone Zaza sprung the offside trap, but Wojciech Szczesny denied the former Juve player’s attempt.
Juve had the ball into the net in the 57th minute but the VAR canceled Juan Cuadrado’s missile as Bocucci was offside and interfering with play.
The Old Lady woke up in the 77th minute when Cuadrado floated in a cross from the left, Weston McKennie steered his header into the net.
Cuadrado’s second assist allowed Bonucci to complete the turnaround with a free header in the dying minutes.
Juve temporarily moved to third place in the standings, narrowing the gap with leader AC Milan to three points.
Elsewhere, Inter Milan claimed the third consecutive league victory after a 3-1 win over Bologna at San Siro.
Romelu Lukaku continued his fearsome form as the Belgian broke the deadlock in the 16th minute.
Achraf Hakimi made it 2-0 before the interval as the Moroccan gathered a long ball from Marcelo Brozovic and then finished with a low-strike.
Bologna pulled one goal back Emanuel Vignato in the 67th minute but Hakimi bagged a brace three minutes later to seal the match.
The Nerazzurri still sits in second place, two points behind AC Milan.
Also on Saturday, a pair of strikes from Ciro Immobile and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic gave Lazio a 2-1 victory away to Spezia.
