Bangladesh earned Taka 8307.07 crore by exporting raw jute to different countries of the world over the last seven years.
“Bangladesh fetched Taka 8307.07 crore by exporting 109.34 lakh bales of raw jute to different countries of the world over the last seven years since 2009-10 fiscal year,” Textiles and Jute Minister Muhammad Imajuddin Pramanik told the House in reply to a starred scripted query from treasury bench member Md Nazrul Islam Babu (Narayanganj-2).
