The polls to elect 15 executive members of Jahangirnagar University Teachers’ Association (JUTA) will be held on February 26.
“The election will start from 9 am while it will continue till 3:30 pm at Teachers’ Club of the university”, Election Commissioner Professor A K M Abul Kalam told media.
Meanwhile, the election commission announced the final candidate’s list for the upcoming polls recently.
Current President of JUTA Professor Farid Ahmed and Professor Md Nurul Alam will contest for the president post while current JUTA Secretary Associate Professor Farid Ahmed and Professor Bashir Ahmed will contest for general secretary post respectively.
