The Supreme Court administration has issued a gazette notification saying that second senior-most judge of the Appellate Division Justice Md Nuruzzaman will work as acting Chief Justice in absence of Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique.
According to the notification issued on September 25, the Chief Justice is going on leave from September 25 to October 10 and Justice Md Nuruzzaman will work as acting Chief Justice in his absence and till the rejoining of Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique.
