The activities of Islamic University (IU) Law Department’s Juristic Clinic was inaugurated amid much enthusiasm and festivity for the purpose of providing the legal services to the general people on Sunday.
IU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari inaugurated the functions of the clinic as the chief guest in a programme held at VC’s conference on the campus around. 11:00 am.
Prof Dr M Johurul Islam of Law department also moderator of the clinic conducted the event while IU pro vice-chancellor Pr Dr M Shahinoor Rahman and its treasurer Prof Dr M Selim Toha were present here as the special guests.
Among others, IU Law faculty dean Prof Dr Halima Khatun, Chairman of the department Prof Dr Nurun Nahar, Prof Dr Kazi Atiqur Rahman, Prof Dr Akram Hossain Mojumdar and Prof Dr Khandaker Touhidul Anam took part on the occasion attended by around One hundred students of the department.
