Jurain Janata Club of Jatrabari defeated Swatirtha Club by 37-19 goals in a match of the Marcel LED Television 1st Division Handball League at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium here on Thursday.
Jurain JC dominated the first half by 20-8 goals. Shanewaz scored 13 goals for the winners while Halirum scored 10 goals for the losers.
Friday’s match: Jurain JC vs Star Sports, 3:00pm; Swatirtha Club vs Quantum Foundation, 4:15pm.
