The 33rd National Junior Athletics competition begins today (Sunday) at Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS).
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu is expected to inaugurate the two-day meet as chief guest at 9 am.
About 600 athletes from all 64 districts, eight divisions, education boards, Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan and others institutions from across the country will take part in the meet, organized by Bangladesh Athletics Federation (BAF).
The competition includes 33 events which include 14 of boys’ section (U-14) events and 19 of juvenile section events.
