The need of the human body for water is well known. It is enhanced during summers because of secretion.Water helps refill the fluids your body loses when you are physically active, when you sweat and when you urinate. Water is inexpensive, easy to get and does not contain any calories.
To meet this need and to replenish the water loss, one must drink water – but who is fond of plain water? If you tell a person to take eight glasses of water every day, he might not take it. But, if you tell him to take six to eight glasses of any fruit juice, he would probably take ten glasses of it.
Fresh fruit juice contains a healthy dose of nutrients like potassium and vitamin C. Another benefit of fruit juice is that if you have a hard time eating enough fruit, it can help you consume enough of this important food group. Freshly extracted fruit juice also provides another, major key nutrient: water. There is an equation that states that a glass of fresh fruit juice is the equivalent of a serving of fruit. Juice cannot completely replace whole fruit within your diets, but it can supplement the amount of nutrients that you provide for your body through eating fruit.
Benefits of Fruit Juices
Fruit juices have been scientifically proven to give certain health benefits, provided that they are taken in moderation. Nutritionists also suggest that fruit juices should be taken in their pure state and people should only drink 100 per cent fruit juice.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans (DGA) agree that, while people should aim to eat whole fruit first, moderate consumption of hundred percent fruit juice can be part of a healthy diet and can help people meet their daily goals for fruit intake.
Fruit juices are provides fruit energy. Fruits juices provide substantial amounts of fruit carbohydrates, which supply energy to power all body work. Raw juices of fruits are extremely rich in vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes and natural sugars.
