The leaders of Jubo Union, Chittagong district chapter said a vested quarters trying to turn the country into a ineffective state through secret killings across the country. They said killing of wife of courageous police officer Babul Akhter is also a deep conspiracy to ruin the country’s image abroad.
The leaders also demanded resignation of the Home Minister for faling to resist the killings one after another. The expressions of the leaders of Jubo Union placed before their rally followed by procession at Cheragir Pahar crossing on Monday evening .
The speakers in the rally said SP Babul Akhtar was a courageous police officer and committed to anti-terrorism zeal and due to his anti-militant role, his wife was murdered targeting by the militants.
The rally was told that a vested militant group is involved with the killings of bloggers, teachers, lawyers, cultural activists, minority community one after another lastly the wife of a patriotic police officer .
The speakers demanded banging of jamaat shibir and all communal fronts in Bangladesh immediately.
President of Jubo Union, Chittagong chapter President Ripon Barua presided over the rally. Among others, General Secretary Ujjal Sikdar, vice president Subrata Dhaar Mitu, former Jubo leader Habib Biplob, former president of district unit of Chhatra Union Rabiul Hossain and incumbent president Simul Baisnab spoke on the occasion.
