Md Alauddin, of Assistant Secretary of Barisal district and Vice-President of Babuganj Upazila Jubo Moitri, was injured severely by chopping of his rivals on Sunday noon at Khanpura of the upazila. He was admitted at Barisal Sher-e- Bangla Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
Rezaul Islam Nasir, elder brother of the victim said Alauddin came under attack of his political rivals and became injured by chopping severely while going to join in a party meeting of Workers Party lawmaker for Barisal-3 Advocate Tipu Sultan at noon.
