Saiful Islam, general secretary candidate of Chattogram South District Jubo League, has said that Jubo League is united to strengthen the hand of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He said the Prime Minister has been working tirelessly to improve the lot of the poor. While the big countries of the world were struggling due to the epidemic, Sheikh Hasina was able to keep the economy of this country afloat.
He said this while exchanging views at a restaurant in the port city on Wednesday evening. He said Sheikh Fazle Shams Porash, Chairman of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League and Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil, General Secretary, have been giving new life to the youth. He hoped that he would take charge of the South District Jubo League at the meeting.
Saiful Islam, who emerged from the Trinamool Chhatra League almost three decades ago, said, “My main goal is to organize the South District Jubo League in the next parliament elections under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina and under the leadership of Jubo League Sheikh Fazle Shams Porash and General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil.”
Upazila Awami League Legal Secretary, Wasim Murad, President of Charkhijirpur Union AL Prof Abu Naeem Chowdhury, among others were present at the meeting.
