A Chattogram court has granted a one-day remand for alleged Jubo League leader Nur Mostafa Tinu. The Metropolitan Magistrate Khairul Amin’s court granted the remand on Thursday.
CMP Senior Assistant Commissioner (Prosecution) Kazi Shahabuddin Ahmed confirmed this information.
Earlier on Sunday, a group of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-1) arrested Tinu from Chawkbazar area of the port city. A foreign shotgun and 9 rounds were recovered after a search of his home and business establishment.
He was handed over to police after a case was filed against him under Arms Act.In the afternoon of Monday, Panchlaish Police Station in the Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Salem Mohd Noman’s court filed a seven-day remand for interrogation of Tinu.
