Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a fugitive Jubo Dal leader Newaz, 26, with petrol bombs from city’s Alankar area on Tuesday morning. A team of RAB-7 conducted a drive at Alankar area under Pahartali thana in the city at around 7.45 am and arrested him with three live petrol bombs and two liters petrol.
Newaz, is the president of number-4 union Jubodal under Bakaergonj upazila of Barisal district.
Lieutenant Colonel Miftah Uddin Ahmed, commander of RAB-7 told Journalist that the arrested person came to Chittagong from Barisal to carry sabotage activities in the port city.
