Ganojagoran Mancha(GJM), Chittagong chapter brought out a jubilant procession in the city yesterday morning from Cheragi Pahar premises following the execution of the execution of Al Badr commander and Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Motiur Rahman Nizami for alleged conviction in war crimes during 1971 Liberation War. The Mancha also distributed sweets among the public in the street expressing fulfillment of their demands of execution of the war crimes.
The procession was brought from Cheragi pahar area led by its convener Sharif Chowhan at 11 am which paraded the entire Anderkilla area and held a public rally there. Among others FF Kazi Nurul Absar, Udichi ctg unit leader Sunil Dhar, Rashed Hasan, Salil Chowdhury, Asish sen, Simul, Al Kaderi Joy joined the procession and rally.
The speakers in the rally demanded attachment of the properties of Nizami and banning of Jamaat from Bangladesh politics.
