UNB, Rajshahi :An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of police was slapped by a local leader of Juba League in Bagha upazila on Monday.According to the eye witnesses, Yousuf Ali, ASI of Bagha police station, riding on his motorcycle came to the Narayanpur market area in the morning.A bicycle rider named Shuvo collided with Yousuf Ali while he was talking on the phone near his motorcycle. After the collision Yousuf Ali had beaten the boy in anger. In the meantime, Abul Kalam Mithu, a leader of Juba League of the district, was returning home with his child from school. At one point ASI Yousuf Ali collided with the looking glass of the motorcycle of Mithu.Yousuf Ali opted to beat Mithu as well after the collision. At that point Mithu slapped Yousuf Ali on the face. Though Yousuf tried to arrest Mithu after he slapped him, Mithu managed to leave the place.
