The Awami -Juba League spots and youth affairs secretary Kazi Enamul Haque Milon was chopped severerely at his business establishment in Jhenidah town on Tuesday morning. He was referred to Faridpur medical college and hospital from Jhenidah general hospital in a critical state.
Jhenidah police station officer in charge (OC) Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury said, Milon was staying in his business centre at Hossain Shahid Sahrawardi road in the town. At around 9.30 AM, a gang of miscreants numbering five to six entered there and started stabbing.
The locals sent Milon to Jhenidah general hospital. An identified corner had swooped on Milon and inured him following previous enmity, OC added.
Awami League Jhenidah district unit secretary Advocate Azizur Rahman said, previous enmity was mainly liable for the attack. He had condemned the attack on Milon and demanded exemplary punishment to the attackers.
