Newly appointed acting Vice-Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University (JU) Professor M A Matin on Saturday placed floral wreaths at the portrait of the Father of the Nation Bangabondhu Sheikh Muzibur Rahman in the city.
Placing the floral wreath, the acting VC vowed to run the university in a mutual understanding and sought cooperation from all to restore the congenial academic atmosphere on the campus. Later, he placed a floral wreath at the National Memorial in Savar.
JU Registrar Abu Bakr Siddique and Director of Public Relations Office Meer Kashem accompanied among others.
