Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Jahangirnagar University (JU) Professor Dr Farzana Islam expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of country’s eminent journalist and novelist Rahat Khan. In a condolence message on Saturday, the VC recalled the glorious career of Rahat Khan and said that the death of Rahat Khan has created a vacuum in the both arena of journalism and literature which is an irreparable loss to the country. Dr Farzana prayed for eternal peace of his departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
