Vice Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University Professor Farzana Islam on Monday expressed profound shock at the death of Sahriyar Shourav Shejan, a former student of the university who was killed in a road accident on Sunday.Shejan, 28, a former student of Geography and Environment department (39th Batch), hails from Thakurgoan was killed in a road accident near Kalsi Flyover in the capital.
She also demanded exemplary punishment to the killer bus driver. The VC prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
