The authority of Gulaidanga Muktijuddho Smriti College in Manikganj district on Friday at a function honoured Jahangirnagar University (JU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Farzana Islam as the first ever woman VC to country’s public university.
Chairman of the Managing Committee of the college also former JU Pro-VC Professor Dr Afser Ahmed presided over the function while college Principal Kahinur Islam delivered welcome speech at the function.
