The academic and administrative activities of Jahangirnagar University (JU) will begin today after observing eight-day vacation on the occasion of Durga Puja, Ashura and Laxmi puja.
The university went into an eight day academic vacation from October 8 to 15 while administration vacation was scheduled from October 10 to 12, which was later extended to October 15, university sources said.
However, the students of the university already have returned to their respective dormitories after celebrating the vacation with their kin and family members.
