Dr. A A Mamun, a professor of Physics department at Jahangirnagar University, has been elected as a fellow of The World Academy of Science (TWAS) for the advancement of science in developing countries.
The authority elected him in recognition of his outstanding performance in science and its promotion in the developing world.
The fellowship will be effective from 1 January, 2021.
JU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Farzana Islam congratulated him for the remarkable achievement.
