The Jahangirnagar University (JU) senate passed a Taka 232.05 crore budget for the fiscal 2017-18 in the annual senate session at the Senate Hall on the campus on Saturday.
JU Treasurer Professor Abul Khair placed the budget in the session with Vice-Chancellor Professor Farzana Islam in the chair, said a JU press release.
Professor Khair also presented a Taka 209.82 crore revised budget for the fiscal 2016-17, the release added.
