A delegation of Jahangirnagar University (JU) led by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Farzana Islam made a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Monday.
During the meeting the delegation, led by JU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Farzana Islam, apprised the President of the academic activities of the university and said there is no session jam in the university, President’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim confirmed the news. The vice-chancellor invited the President to chair the 5th convocation of the university as the chancellor.
Abdul Hamid expressed his satisfaction over the academic activities of the university and underscored the need for maintaining congenial academic atmosphere on the campus.
Secretaries concerned to the President were present at the meeting.
