The Jahangirnagar University (JU) authorities have taken up a four day-long comprehensive programme to observe the University Day today marking its 45th founding anniversary.
Marking the occasion the programme will be inaugurated tomorrow by hoisting National Flag and University Flag at Business Studies Faculty premises at about 9.00am.
The four day-long programme also includes pomp rally, puppet show, Pitha Mela (cake fair), staging drama, observing alumni day, raffle draw, grand lunch and cultural function.
The function will be concluded on January 15 following celebrating the alumni day.
The JU started its academic activities on January 12, 1971.
