A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Jahangirnagar University (JU) and University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) with a view to enhancing bilateral education and research.
JU Treasurer Professor Sheikh Monzurul Huq and Director of Archeology department of USTC Professor Jin Zhengyaw on Thursday signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutes at a function at the council room of administrative building on the JU campus, said a JU press release.
Under the MoU, students of JU Archeology department will get opportunity for higher education and research in the Chinese university.
JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Farzana Islam, Associate professors of USTC Archeology department Anchuan Fan and Gong Li, JU Pro-VC (administration) Professor Amir Hussain, were present, among others.
