Students of different department of Jahangirnagar University on Thursday brought out a broom procession demanding expulsion of Bangladesh Chhatra League men who are involved in sexual harassment of an indigenous female student on Pahela Baishakh night.
The procession was brought out following a rally at around 11:00am on the campus.
On April 16, an Indigenous female students of JU had filed a complaint
with university administration alleging that 5 BCL men of JU unit sexually assaulted her and beat up her friends.
Later, the accused 5 students were expelled by BCL while eight students including accused five were suspended from the university.
