Jahangirnagar University (JU) became the champions in the Inter-University Basketball Competition held on the campus here on Monday. The final round of the competition was held at JU Gymnasium. Chittagong University (CU) became the runners-up in the competition, a university press release said today. JU Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Abul Hossain was present as chief guest at the prize giving ceremony and distributed prizes among the winners while Treasurer Professor Dr. Abul Khair, Senate Member of JU AKM Rashedul Hassan Masum and Industrialist Altaf Biswash were present, among others, on the occasion.
