At least three activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit, were injured in a clash between two factions of the organisation on Sunday midnight on the campus.
The clash took place at Shaheed Rafiq Jabber Hall centering ragging a new student that left the three BCL men injured critically.
The injured students are Shamim of International Relation Dept., Habibullah of Public Administration Dept. and Roni of Archeology Dept. They were sent to university
medical centre from where they were shifted again to Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar.
Additional police force were deployed in the campus to avert untoward situation. Tense situation has been prevailing.
Proctor of the university Professor Dr Tapan Kumar Saha said that action would be taken after investigation.
