Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of ruling Awami League, of Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit yesterday distributed warm clothes among the underprivileged people at the Central Shaheed Minar premises on the campus here.
JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Farzana Islam addressed the programme as the chief guest while Member of Parliament (Dhaka-20) also director of Meghna Bank M A Malek inaugurated the clothes distribution as the special guest.
JU Pro-VC Professor Dr. Abul Hossain and Registrar Abu Bakr Siddique also addressed the function among others.
Presided over by JU BCL President Mahmudur Rahman Jani, Secretary Rajib Ahmed Rasel conducted the function in presence of more than hundred BCL activists
