Kushtia Correspondent :
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu has once again said that Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) had no link with the killing of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with his family members on August 15, 1975.
“JSD had no link with the killings. Khondker Mushtaque and Ziaur Rahman were involved in August 15 killings,” he said while responding to queries of reporters at Kushtia General Hospital on Thursday morning.
The minister was paying a visit to Kushtia General Hospital. Inu alleged that Khaleda is now making an evil attempt to reverse the history through resorting to falsehood as she has no other option.
“Stop spreading falsehoods… you know who the killers of August 15 are.”
The minister also advised BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to appoint lawyers having Bar-at-Law degrees to save herself and her son from the corruption and murder charges instead of planning to wage a movement.
“Engage your efforts to save yourself. Look for barristers to save yourself and your son from the graft and murder cases shelving the movement plan,” he said.
The minister observed that it is the people who will decide whether the present government will remain in power or not. “It doesn’t depend on Khaleda’s will as we serve people.”
Urging the BNP chief to take the path of democracy discarding that of killing, conspiracy and falsehood, he said, “Or else, you’ll be thrown into the dustbin of history.”
Assistant director of the Kushtia General Hospital Dr Azizun Nahar, additional district magistrate Anarkali Mahbub and additional police super Abu Bakar Siddique accompanied the minister.
