The Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations held yesterday in Chittagong with the participation of 1,70,398 students.
Of them, 76,195 male students and 94,142 girl students are appearing for the JSC & JDC examination.
This year the examinations are being held in 204 centers under Chittagong, Rangamati, Khagrachari, Bandarban and Coxsbazar districts. The rush of guardians infront of the examination centres witnessed by our correspondent while visiting the centres. Heavy gatherings witnessed infront of Dr. Khastagir Govt Girls High school at Jamal khan area in city.
Deputy commissioner of Chittagong Mesbahuddin visited the centre of Govt Muslim High school .
According to Chittagong Education Board, 1,52,576 students appeared in this examinations last year.
Students with visual impairment, difficulties with their hands, and victims of cerebral palsy will get amanuenses while students with autism or Down syndrome will get 30 minutes extra time, board sources said.
