Staff Reporter :The Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations 2015 will begin from November 1 (Sunday) across the country. A total of 2,325,933 (JSC 19,67,447, JDC358, 486) students will take part in the examinations. Out of 19,67,447 JSC examinees, 9,14,900 are boys and 10,52,547 are girls, while out of 3,58,486 JDC examinees, 1,67,770 are boys and 190,716 are girls.The examinations will be held in 2,627 centers with some 1,967,447 students from schools and 358,486 from madrasas. The number of institutions is 28,632. About 585 students will sit for the examinations at eight centres abroad the same day.Some 20,90,692 examinees took part in the examinations last year. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid detailed it at a press conference held in his ministry on Thursday.The government meanwhile has taken precautionary measurers to check question paper leak, the education minister said. “We have kept the Bangladesh Government (BG) Press, and the coaching centres under strong vigilance for the purpose,” he said. “Existing laws will deal with the miscreants in case of need. Mobile court will be kept ready to try the criminals. The public examinations for the last few years were marred by allegations of question leak. The latest was that of medical admission tests which sparked weeks of protests.
