JS session to continue till Nov 30

The fourth session of 10th Parliament that began on Thursday after a 56-day recess will continue till November 30.
The first sitting of the 4th session began at 4 pm yesterday with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
After adopting a condolence motion at the beginning of the sitting expressing profound grief at the death of ruling Awami League MP Ishaque Hossain Talukder of Sirajganj-3 (Raiganj-Tarash), the day’s all other business of the House were suspended.
The session will resume at 4 pm on Sunday (November 16). Earlier, at 3 pm on Thursday, the Business Advisory Committee’s meeting fixed the tenure of the fourth session.
Chaired by Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, the Business Advisory Committee’s meeting was attended by Leader of the House and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Opposition Leader in the House Raushan Ershad, Deputy Leader of House Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury, Jatiya Party chairman HM Ershad and other committee members.
