The Jatiya Sangsad here on Monday passed the “One Stop Service Bill, 2018” in an amended form aimed at ensuring regulation activities to raise investment and business in the country. Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury piloted the bill in the House and said it would ensure regulation activities to raise investment and business in the country and the one stop service would play as a crucial strategy. The bill was passed by voice votes with Deputy Speaker M Fazley Rabbi Miah in the chair.
A committee would be formed styled “One Stop Service Ensuring Committee” headed by a cabinet minister as chief under the proposed bill.
