The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Planning informed that the work is underway to launch a software so that the concerned persons from district level to the ministry can monitor the projects by sitting at home.
The committee disclosed this in its 10th meeting at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Thursday with its chairman Abul Kalam Azad in the chair, said an official press release.
Committee members Planning Minister MA Mannan, Major (retd) Rafiqul Islam, Bir Uttam, Saber Hossain Chowdhury, Biren Sikder, Manzur Hossain, Raushan Ara Mannan and Adiba Anjum Mita attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed in details about the steps taken during the implementation of the 7th five year plan from July 2016 to June 2020 as per the evaluation report provided by Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) on the completed projects from the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Department of the Ministry of Education and Technical and Madrasa Education Department.
